Activities of the Coalition “I Can Live”

Organization of monitoring and analysis of adoption and implementation of legal acts. Provision of recommendations and consultations to authorities and other institutions on ways to solve problems associated with addictive diseases and related issues. Conduction of research in different areas associated with addictive diseases and related issues. Organization of conferences, educational seminars, discussions and lectures. Preparation of information materials about addictive diseases and related issues.

Advocacy and Legislation

Monitoring and analysis of adoption and implementation of legal acts. Provision of recommendations and consultations to authorities and other institutions, participation in established task forces. Active publicity of issues, which are important to the Coalition.

Legal Advocacy

Strategic litigation initiatives, representation in court aiming at important legal and/or social changes in the society, formation of legislative framework, court practice or state policy on socially important issues, especially in the area of rights of vulnerable groups.

Networking

Cooperation with social partners in shaping and enhancing NGOs role in proper representation and participation in public policy, formation of public opinion on vulnerable healthcare, social and fundamental rights issues.

Education and Training

Seminars, trainings, round table discussions and other events designed to educate target groups, raise their awareness, build capacity and keep dialogue.

Research

Research, surveys, overviews and studies related to topics, important issues and problems elaborated by the Coalition and its members.

Publications

Information publications for vulnerable groups, specialists working therewith, shapers of public policy and decision makers.
